My journey into software started in elementary school with a simple desire to mod games like Minecraft and Roblox. What began as childhood tinkering evolved into a fascination with cybersecurity and CTFs, which ultimately shaped my professional mission: I don't just want to build systems that work—I want to build systems that are unshakeable.
Professional experience at Guangzhou Quantitative Software Technology taught me that clean code is a performance feature. When a mistimed trade can have massive financial consequences, you can't afford to navigate bloated documentation or hunt through stack traces five files deep. I carry this "no-bloat" philosophy into everything I develop, from architecting Go microservices to implementing pessimistic locking in PostgreSQL to ensure absolute data integrity.
For the last six years, I've also led the BlueBot Community Project, managing a platform for over 10,000 members. Leading a distributed engineering team taught me the pragmatic side of development—how to balance zero-downtime production requirements with the high-pressure demands of a live community.
Recently, I completed my B.S. in Computer Science at UMBC and am now pursuing a M.S. in Data Science at UMD College Park. When I'm not ricing my Linux environment or building LLM data pipelines, you can find me on the badminton court. I bring an analytical mindset to competition, but I always prioritize the social aspect of casual play—because the best systems, like the best teams, are built on clarity and mutual respect.
